Go to the Dashboard and click CVI Value.
On CVI Value page, select “Calculate a new CVI Value.”
Step 2 opens a new window that allows you to define the two regions you’d like to compare. There are two ways to choose a region: from an existing “saved region” that you have previously created in region selection or select “new region” to choose a single area* from those that are available to you at your subscription level.
First define the region of focus. In this example we are choosing from saved regions.
*Note: If you need to create a new region with more than one area in it (for example, two counties) then you’ll need to return to “region selection” to create the region. When you return to the CVI Value page that region will be available from your dropdown menu of saved regions.
Next you need to select the region you’d like to compare your region of focus against. In this case we are selecting new region choosing a state.
Use the “Calculate CVI Value” button to create the new value.
A new tab will appear with the new value. Click the + symbol to open the drawer and see the breakdown of the data making up the CVI Value.
